Honestly, if the article gets popular enough to be hated on so much, I welcome it!

I also know that this doesn’t exhaustively explore the topic, nor does it look at intersectionality. But, I got tired, and I figured people don’t want to read a 45 min long essay. So, yeah, I know I will get a lot of critiques.

Far easier to be a consumer and a critic, than a creator, right? I get on my high horse too, sometimes, and shred apart things others have written, without first considering how much time, thought, and vulnerability actually went into creating it.

Hopefully, at the very least, this article plants a seed for some, and validates what some others, feel and know.
